Free Books

This is an internet offer from Random House Books.  They are offering three advance reader copies of books.

Here is the info on one of the books:
THE CRYING TREE
by Naseem Rakha

A mother's extraordinary act of forgiveness nearly tears her family apart, in a powerful debut novel that's perfect for readers of Jodi Picoult and Elizabeth Berg. Powerful, shocking and raw, this first novel about the murder of a child and its aftermath is getting rave reviews from early readers.

"This complex, layered story of a family's journey toward justice and forgiveness comes together through spellbinding storytelling."—Publishers Weekly

"Both tragic and redemptive, The Crying Tree might just be this year's Lovely Bones."—Brian Sweaney, Recorded Books

"Gifted storyteller Naseem Rakha has crafted a beautiful and passionate novel that never becomes maudlin or unbelievable...Highly recommended."—Library Journal

"For anyone who has ever wondered how forgiveness is possible, even when the pain is overwhelming, wonder no more. The Crying Tree takes you on a journey you won't soon forget."—Sister Helen Prejean, author of Dead Man Walking

Reverie Baby 40% off the entire store!

Reverie Baby is having a huge sale. The entire store is 40% off. If you have never been to the store it is a boutique children's clothing store in Montgomery Village. A few of the brands they carry are Zutano, le top, See Kai Run. They offer free gift wrap (clearance excluded) and have a great selection of newborn clothes to toddler clothes and shoes. Tell them you heard about the sale on my blog and get a free smile!

Target 75% off Kids Clothes.

On Tuesdays Target marks down items. About once a month kid's clothes go on sale for 75% off. I purchased a few shirts and onsies. The Target Circo brand isn't the best quality but it is ok for play wear that you don't mind letting the kiddos get dirty. I paid $1.00 or less for each item.

Grocery Outlet Organics!

A few times a month I shop at the Grocery Outlet.  This week I was short on time so didn't get much.  They had some really good buys today.

This is the breakdown of what I purchased for only $30.40.

1/2 Gallon of Organic Milk exp. 6/2
2 bottles of Wildwood Soy Smoothie Mango Passion Flavor exp. 5/27
1 4 pack Koxy Shack 100 calorie Vanilla Pudding.  exp. 6/24
1 dozen Natue's Yolk Organic Cage Free Eggs exp. 6/7
1L Tropicana Peach, Papaya, Mango Juice  (add your favorite rum for a tropical Daiquiri)
1 bottle Rosehaven Blush CA 2007 (who needs two buck chuck)
1 bottle AU Chardonnay Australia 2006 (pushing it in age for drinking. I might use it for cooking)
1 bottle Red Guitar Nauarra 2007 Spain
1 Four pack of Avocados
1 8oz tube of Herb Goat Milk Cheese
Earthbound Organics:
1lb Clam shell Spring Mix Salad
1 5oz Clam shell Baby Spinach
1 Head Organic Cauliflower (only 50 cents!)
